We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Seamstress/Tailor to join our dynamic bridal alterations team. Responsibilities
- Measure clients accurately to determine their tailoring needs and ensure proper fit
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to construct, alter, or repair garments according to specifications
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on garment adjustments, styles, and fabric choices
- Follow detailed sewing patterns and garment construction techniques to produce high-quality finished products
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency during sewing operations
- Communicate clearly with clients about project timelines, adjustments, and expectations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or tailoring within a fashion retail environment
- Proficiency with sewing machines and various sewing techniques
- Strong understanding of garment fitting, pattern making, and alteration procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen carefully and provide professional guidance
- Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating fabric requirements, and adjusting patterns
- Knowledge of fashion trends and retail standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week

- Industrial sewing machine: 1 year (Preferred)
