Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with medication administration and reminders
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment, if necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow all medical documentation procedures in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses, to ensure coordinated care
- Provide specialized care for individuals with developmental disabilities or specific medical conditions, as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide
- Experience in hospice care, senior care, or caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
We offer Mileage reimbursement and cell phone reimbursement.
Offers $35-$40 per patient visit depending on experience and location.
