About the Role Join our vibrant cafe team as a front-of-house specialist dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be the welcoming face of our counter and dining room, guiding visitors through our menu, entering orders with precision, and ensuring a spotless, inviting atmosphere. This position earns an hourly base wage plus shared shift tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and share helpful recommendations on our menu offerings
- Ring up orders accurately using our Toast POS terminal and process cash/card transactions
- Coordinate smoothly with the preparation team to deliver food and beverages quickly
- Keep the dining area, counters, and service stations clean, stocked, and organized
- Resolve guest questions promptly to deliver a top-tier hospitality experience
- Support team members with general cafe upkeep and floor tasks throughout each shift
What We’re Looking For
- Previous background in food service, retail, or hospitality preferred (willing to train the right attitude)
- Comfortable handling register transactions and basic cash math
- Familiarity with Toast POS or modern point-of-sale software is a strong advantage
- Dependable team player with strong interpersonal and clear communication skills
- Capable of staying organized and moving quickly during high-volume rush periods
- Physical ability to remain on your feet for extended shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
Compensation & Perks
- Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour tip pool earnings
