What You’ll Do:
As an Information Systems Security Manager, you’ll play a meaningful role in the overall security posture of information systems within an organization. The ISSM ensures that systems comply with all applicable security policies, procedures, and standards, including those mandated by government regulations and cybersecurity strategy. This role involves managing security risk assessments, overseeing the implementation of security controls, and ensuring that systems maintain compliance with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, RMF, and others. The ISSM serves as the principal advisor on all matters involving the security of information systems and is a key player in the development and implementation of the organization's cybersecurity strategy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field of study preferred or equivalent combination of education and progressive, related experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT management position, managing technology projects, such as security standards and network infrastructure
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Information Technology
- Experience in healthcare, particularly in the field of Intellectual Development Disabilities (IDD) preferred
- Ability to explain technical problems to business users
- Professional certification preferred in one of more relevant areas (Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), etc
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record, if applicable.
