What You’ll Do:
As a Communications Intern, you’ll play a meaningful role in assisting with content creation, internal and external communication plans, media placement, and social media content and strategies. This position will work collaboratively as a member of the advancement and communications team and other internal partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Preferably pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, Advertising or Public Relations)
- Must have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred.
- Experience with fundraising, graphic design, WordPress, and marketing; basic photography and videography; experience with web authoring
- Experience working in the field of developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must have own computer with reliable internet connection.
- Must be able to pass drug and background screens.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record, if applicable.
