Overview
We are seeking a motivated and personable Salesperson. This role combines customer engagement, sales support, and lot maintenance to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their trailer and parts inquiries
- Support sales efforts by providing product information and guiding customers through purchasing options
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the lot area
- Assist with parking and moving trailers using manual transmission vehicles as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Support delivery drivers with loading or unloading trailers when required
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Operate a forklift and all necessary equipment to complete tasks
- Ensuring all trailers are washed, funtioning and ready to sell
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically able to lift, push, and move equipment or products
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Dependable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Mechanical knowledge a plus, but not required
Requirements
- Experience in Sales - Commission based sales (preferred)
- Trailer Knowledge and familiarity with parts
- Previous experience in trailer dealership sales, retail, or customer service roles preferred
- Familiarity with guest services, hospitality principles, and dealership operations
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform parking duties on efficiently and safely
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of delivery driver procedures and customer service standards
