I-2-I Solutions, Inc. is hiring experienced CDL Bus Drivers to support a U.S. Department of Defense transportation project on the Island of Hawaii.
Drivers will provide safe, reliable bus and shuttle services between Hilo and the Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) for military personnel during scheduled training operations.
This short-term contract offers steady daily routes, competitive pay, and the opportunity to support a federal transportation mission while working in a professional and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate full-size passenger buses between Hilo and PTA on assigned service dates.
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, fueling, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Follow all Army base access, safety, and security protocols.
- Ensure punctual pickup and drop-off times in coordination with site managers.
- Maintain professionalism and communication throughout the project period.
Work Schedule
- Service Dates:
- November 6–11, 2025
- November 16–26, 2025
- Routes between Hilo and PTA (round trips daily).
- May include early mornings, weekends, or holidays depending on mission needs.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) Endorsement – Required.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial bus or shuttle driving experience.
- Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety and reliability.
- Must pass a background check to obtain Army base access.
- Familiarity with military installations or government transport preferred.
- Must comply with all federal and state transportation regulations.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly or daily contract rate.
- Pay complies with federal Wage Determination standards.
- 1099 contractor structure available (independent contractor).
