Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our staff and clients. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the office, assisting with various administrative tasks, and contributing to an efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Hours: 8am - 5pm
  • Work directly under Principal Engineer and President
  • Manage and organize company calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle general correspondence
  • Assist in customer support by addressing inquiries and providing information
  • Retrieve mail and upload documents digitally
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Bluebeam
  • Coordinate, prepare and scan documents, reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Maintain office files and records, ensuring confidentiality
  • Assist with project coordination, tracking timelines, and supporting project managers
  • Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all office supplies are stocked
  • Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees
  • Support the team with personal assistant tasks when necessary

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
  • Experience in construction is a plus
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Google Suite applications
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail with strong proofreading capabilities
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
