POSITION OVERVIEW
Hyzon Motors is seeking an experience Product Cybersecurity Engineer that will focus their software engineering and product cyber security expertise on Hyzon’s automotive software. The Product Cybersecurity Engineer will execute technical aspects of the product cybersecurity development lifecycle for development fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV). The Product Cybersecurity will be apart of the Global Software Engineering team, centrally located in Hyzon’s Global Innovation Center in Bolingbrook, IL.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop product cybersecurity processes, practices, and work products, per ISO 21434 and similar standards. Includes Item Definition, Vulnerability Analysis, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment, Security Concept, Security Requirements, etc. for ePowertrain, fuel cell system, and other vehicle systems.
- Help drive the organization product cybersecurity roadmap and cybersecurity practices adoption.
- Interface with suppliers, contractors, and consultants in production cybersecurity capacity.
- Support the implementation of product cybersecurity requirements in vehicle systems.
- Develop product cybersecurity test plans and perform validation.
- Create and promote a cybersecurity culture that supports the achievement of product security adoption.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology
- 3 years of work experience in software engineering and product cybersecurity, specifically for automotive or similar vehicle systems and software.
- Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle specific requirements and software.
- Knowledge of ISO 21434 Road Vehicles - Cybersecurity Engineering is required.
- Knowledge of European cybersecurity type certification is preferred.
- Experience in vehicle product cybersecurity projects at the OEM level is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in overall product cybersecurity processes/practices/activities outside of engineering domain are preferred.
- Experience with ANSYS Medini or similar security analysis software is required.
- Experience with automotive or commercial vehicle networks, such as CAN, SAE J1939 and LIN preferred.
- Experience in control systems/software/communication architecture on trucks or passenger vehicles is required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to explain and document work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to resolve ambiguity and drive for results.
