Job Title: Replenishment Buyer Department: Production Indirect. FLSA: Non-Exempt General Function The Replenishment Buyer is responsible for proper replenishment of supplies, raw ingredients and packaging. Perform inventory counts and maintain in our ERP System. Positions that Report to you: None Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Maintaining and ensuring food safety. Report any food safety deviations to your supervisor immediately. Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines. Maintains theoretical inventory as indicated by service software, Process Pro and place Purchase Orders to approved suppliers. Responsible for proper replenishment of supplies, ingredients and packaging using FIFO. Performs inventory cycle counts as needed on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Monitors incoming orders for accuracy and enters invoices. Have or willingness to complete Industrial Pallet Jack certifications. Communicates new, discontinued, and slow moving items to needed personnel. Other duties as assigned by management. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and follow through. Ability to read and interpret laws and regulatory guidelines. Must be knowledgeable of warehouse distribution, safety program, manufacturing procedures, regulations, sanitation practices, and standards. Ability to handle confidential information. Education and Experience: High school education/equivalent or related experience Two years of experience in production or shipping. Physical Requirements: This is considered a semi-skilled position. Frequent to constant handling, grasping paper, constant listening, talking, hearing, writing, seeing reading, dealing with people, influencing others, evaluating information and use of computer. Working Conditions: Duties are split between an office setting and warehouse locations Frequent deadlines exist while handling multiple tasks. Equipment Used to Perform Job: Photocopier, fax machine, office telephone system, Microsoft Office, ERP System (Process Pro) Required to wear steel toed footwear in the warehouse.
