Test Debug and RCA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Testing & Validation
  
  
  

Execute functional, stress, thermal, burn-in, and reliability tests on server and rack platforms. Validate CPU, memory, storage, networking, and GPU subsystems. Verify BIOS, BMC, and firmware functionality. Perform server bring-up and manufacturing qualification testing. Responsible for test process instructions (TPI) generation and production operator trainings.

• Debug & Troubleshooting
  
  
  

Troubleshot hardware failures and test station issues. Collect BIOS logs, BMC logs, SEL logs, and Linux diagnostic information. Analyze system boot failures and hardware detection issues. Assist in reproducing customer and manufacturing failures.

• Root Cause Analysis Support
  
  
  

Gather failure evidence and diagnostic data. Assist senior engineers in RCA investigations. Document findings and corrective action recommendations. Maintain failure tracking records.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

0–3 years of experience in hardware testing, validation, or manufacturing support.

Technical Skills

Basic server architecture knowledge.

Linux commands (dmesg, journalctl, lspci, dmidecode).

BIOS configuration and firmware flashing.

BMC/IPMI fundamentals.

Basic networking concepts.

Python scripting fundamentals.

Basic SQL/MySQL queries.

Compensation: $110,000 to $135,000
