Entry Level Automotive Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues across various automotive systems.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including GM vehicles and diesel engines.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as alignment, transmission repairs, and welding.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to execute repairs accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and automotive electrical systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about vehicle issues and repair options.
• Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing maintenance tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required.
• Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with powertrain components, automotive service procedures, and customer service best practices.
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools necessary for vehicle repairs.
