What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Porter position at Hyundai of Cookeville?
The lot porter assists with parking lots as needed to ensure that they are clean and safe at all times while maintaining an orderly condition. These individuals will perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
Detailed job duties include:
- Clean and maintain the lot in a safe manner.
- Parking vehicles and making sure lines are straight
- Remove trash from vehicles, clean the driveway of cars and remove debris from sidewalks, etc.
- Adhere all safety rules and regulations when performing work on assigned vehicles.
- Complete daily inventory check-in process with customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualification
- Must have reliable transportation and good communication skills with the ability for work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold and rain
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Good driving record required by state law
- Possession of valid driver's license
