Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will support our accounting and office operations, including:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices, statements, and payments
- Post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with aging reports and follow-up as needed
- Deal & Posting Support
- Verify deal paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Post deals into the accounting system
- Assist with recording vehicle sales, deposits, and related transactions
- Reconciliations & Reporting
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (bank statements, schedules, etc.)
- Help maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Support preparation of basic internal reports as requested
- Title & DMV Paperwork (as needed)
- Maintain records in compliance with dealership and state requirements
- General Office Support
- Maintain organized digital and physical files
- Support the Accounting Manager and team with various administrative tasks
- Provide professional, courteous communication with internal staff and external partners

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience (automotive or dealership experience a plus, but not required)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, ledgers, reconciliations)
- Comfortable using computers and office software (Excel, Word, email; experience with dealership DMS/software is a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in accounting or business is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
