HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support daily production issues as required.
· Prepare presentations/reports on current projects, progress, and issues to management.
· Understand and control labor allocation.
· Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases.
· Analyze and continuously improve performance of assigned area (safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors).
· Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem solving teams, as directed by Senior Management.
· Continually review technical developments in area of responsibility and propose new technology projects as appropriate.
· Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
· Meet all other requirements as assigned
· (expected) Serve as technical expert for Team Members, Team Leaders, including technical training, as required.
· (expected) Serve as technical expert of assigned area during vehicle launches
Qualifications & Preferences
Required:
· Experience in studying engineering in college or university
Preferred:
· Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent desired
· Job related experience in an engineering/industrial environment preferred
Travel Requirement
· Domestic / International travel required.
