What You Will Do
- Supervises and monitors all fixed operations activities. Primarily a mentor and developmental manager, identifying strengths and weaknesses; providing challenges, developmental plans, and coaching to maximize performance. In doing so, ensures the attainment of sales, warranty, training, customer satisfaction and consumer affairs objectives. Coordinates all these activities with the other staff managers and determines schedules, activities and skill sets to ensure effective dealer contacts.

- Manage the team:
- Assist as required to meet or exceed objectives.
- Approve monthly schedules to ensure contact ratio meets HMA guideline.
- Research, identify and create improvement actions for each skill set.
- Create and manage tracking reports to measure achievement towards objectives.
- Create and manage tracking reports to ensure completion of assigned projects.
- Complete performance evaluations per HMA guidelines.
- Ensure completion of the annual training requirement.
- Provide reports if corrective actions are needed to address individual DPSM performance.
- Conduct process training for successful dealership contacts through mutual travel.
- Serve as liaison between dealers and department management at region and national.
- Perform other assigned duties (Duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties as required).
- As primary supervisor, responsible for ensuring that all administrative requirements (contact reports, VOR reports, expense reports, etc.) are completed in a timely manner and are consistent in quality with HMA standards.
- Assists in annual planning and with other department managers in developing specific program objectives, tracking and performance.
- Solicits input from other department managers regarding performance to create developmental plans and to complete annual performance reviews.
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree a plus.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience with at least five years directly related to automotive after sales or sales required.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate raw data into executive summaries required.
- Two to three years of supervisory and mentoring experience required.
- Automotive fixed operations competencies imperative.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Outstanding motivator.
- Compensation Range: $114,800 - $164,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
