The Manager, Regional Sales Planning is responsible for supporting the development of the regional sales plans and collaborating with all stakeholder departments within HMA to ensure alignment with national objectives. This role will be responsible for identifying and analyzing sales, share, and market trends and the impact of those trends on production, distribution, and profit planning at the region and model level. This position will be responsible for development of strategies and countermeasures based on analysis in conjunction with HMA sales leadership. This position is expected to work both independently and as part of a team and to be a subject matter expert on regional sales plans and pipeline analysis.

What You Will Do

Regional Pipeline Planning
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Balance regional pipeline with sales, market share, production, and supply plans from internal stakeholders.
- Develop multiple regional scenarios based on sales and supply forecasts.
- Advise Distribution team on monthly production volume splits by region and model.
- Manage sales, wholesale, and pipeline system output and provide feedback for system improvements.
- Act as point of contact for region counterparts.
- Forecast monthly sales and market share outcomes based on historical insights and current situation.
- Provide analysis to HMA sales leadership and recommend countermeasures.
- Responsible for creating and distributing monthly regional sales and wholesale objectives to key stakeholders.
- Act as point of contact for field inquiries regarding objectives.
- Deliver insightful reporting as market conditions change.
- Streamline reporting and expediate information sharing to improve process efficiency.
- Support team on presentation data gathering and analysis for monthly executive governance meetings.
- Support department requests for ad hoc reporting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Master’s Degree a plus.
- Six or more years of automotive OEM experience; Sales, Planning and/or Distribution experience preferred.
- Sales analysis or forecasting experience outside/inside automotive a plus.
- Carflow planning a plus.
- Field/Regional experience a plus.
- Process Improvement experience a plus.
- Sharp analytical, technical, and mathematical / statistical skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel).
- Experience in SAP or other ERP systems, Tableau and Alteryx a plus.
- Compensation Range: $91,000 - $130,000 annual base salary
- Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
- Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
