Team Member, Logistics

Logistics Team Members enable Hyundai Mobis production with the timely and efficient receipt, inventory, and delivery of Local and Complete Knockdown Parts to our Production lines. Team members are enabled through the use of powered industrial vehicles and digital/analog systems of record and ensure the highest quality of part is maintained throughout logistics operations.

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

• Operate and Maintain Hyundai Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with published standard operating procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Achieve daily productivity goals set by Team Leaders.
• Handling materials as required to maintain inventory or facilitate the production process.
• Reading, interpreting, and following Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) to ensure precise execution of logistics operations.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure equipment condition is safe.
• Ensure OEM service parts and customer orders are properly handled within the warehouse.
• Unload trucks containing inbound service parts, verify quality and quantity of all inbound parts shipments within set operational timelines.
• Conduct Goods Receipt and/or quality inspection of received goods.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Maintaining a consistent work pace, utilizing time effectively, and completing tasks within designated timeframes.
• Adhering to 5S principles for a clean and organized work environment
• Receive cross training on additional Production Control and Logistics functions
• Demonstrating flexibility to support continuous improvement activities for personal and company growth.
• All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Experience (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal management skills

Working Conditions: Walking and Standing on the production floor, occasional travel as needed.
