What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Recruiter position at Hyundai MOBIS Alabama, LLC-Savannah Plant?
The Contract Recruiter is a member of the Human Resources team and is responsible for supporting workforce growth and talent acquisition activities for South Carolina manufacturing operations. During the plant launch phase, the position will initially operate from the temporary start-up office located in Columbia, South Carolina before transitioning to the permanent Columbia facility. Training includes approximately one week in Ellabell, Georgia.
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities.
- Partner with hiring managers and develop recruiting strategies.
- Source, screen and interview candidates.
- Support plant start-up hiring initiatives and career fairs.
- Coordinate onboarding and pre-employment activities.
- Maintain ATS records and ensure compliance.

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years recruiting or HR experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or automotive recruiting experience.
- Plant start-up experience.
- ATS/HRIS experience.
- SHRM or PHR certification.
Travel Requirements
- Required travel to Ellabell, Georgia for approximately one week of training.
- Occasional travel for recruiting events and business needs.
