ROLE REQUIRES PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN QUARTZ AND SOLID SURFACE INDUSTRIES. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company and maintain existing relationships. This candidate will be focused on growth and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. The ideal candidate will maintain product knowledge and train others to promote Hyundai L&C products to all retail, distributor, and OEM customers. Must be based in Philadelphia
Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and expand the Company
- Maintain existing business
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
- Gathers market research in the defined territory and collaborates with the marketing team to grow sales and client base
- Assisting with trade show set up, client entertainment events, and other promotional activities as needed including weekend sales events
- Provides excellent service to all clients
- Responsible for all sales in the defined territory
- Prepares and provides product trainings, presentations, and proposals
- This role requires travelling up to 80% of the time to clients within the defined territory, and may include overnight travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience (quartz, solid surfaces, kitchen & bath industry preferred)
- Requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
