General Affairs Assistant Manager

Hyundai Glovis Georgia is an integrated logistics company located in West Point, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Kia Motors Manufacturing. We currently have and opening for a General Affairs Assistant Manager

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:

· Sourcing and overseeing third party service providers (i.e. Janitorial, Wast Management Services, Equipment Leases)

· Oversee the bidding processes and contractual agreements with third party providers.

· Conduct annual evaluations with third party service providers ensure that all contract obligations are being met and vendors are performing as expected.

· Manage renovations, refurbishment and building projects for the facilities and/or grounds and well as manage facility maintenance.

· Create proposals for capital improvement projects.

· Manage and supervise General Affairs and Facility Maintenance staff.

· Develop, implement and keep updated all General Affairs policies and procedures.

· Manage company owned property (leased vehicles, company cell phones).

· Manage annual business license renewals and annual insurance renewals.

· Coordinate all company travel and relocation.

· Manage and oversee purchasing functions and processing of Purchase Orders, invoices

· Ordering all facilities supplies

· Manage all equipment leases and terms.

· Manage PM functions for generators, switchgear testing, HVAC Systems.

· Reviews and Track Maintenance Requests to ensure requests are being addressed.

POSITION QUALIFICATONS:

· 3-5 Years Facility Management Experience (including managing third party service providers)

· Understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Septic Systems.

· 3-5 Years experience of contract bidding and negotiating pricing

· Strong understanding of Purchasing principals and experience managing Purchase Order processes and systems.

· Focus/results driven achiever with exemplary planning and organization skills.

· Requires effective oral, written communication and computer skills (excel, word, power point, SAP etc.).

· Availability to handle emergency after hours issues with no notice.
