Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred but not required)
- 0–3 years of experience in security, facility operations, or customer service
- Ability to obtain and maintain state-required security license
- Basic understanding of security procedures, patrol operations, and safety practices
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and basic security systems
- Ability to work both in an office environment and in the field
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred

Essential Functions
- Monitor and operate security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and visitor management platforms.
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, identify irregularities, and report safety or security concerns.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with established procedures, ensuring timely escalation when necessary.
- Issue, update, and deactivate employee and contractor badges; maintain accurate access control records.
- Review and complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries, access needs, and general support.
- Coordinate with security vendors for system troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment servicing.
- Support compliance activities, including audits, training coordination, and preparation of required reports.
- Assist in planning and supporting security operations for special events, high‑traffic periods, or elevated risk situations.
- Participate in cross-training across dispatch, patrol, administrative, and system functions to support operational continuity.
- Perform other duties related to facility security and safety operations as assigned by management.
