What You Will Do: Perform onsite maintenance of mobile equipment, including analysis and inspection of GM-owned equipment located in Spring Hill, TN, to meet the expectations of end users. Be a mentor to other technicians. Delegate assignments out daily, One who will step up and assume additional responsibilities when needed. Be able to cover other shifts when needed. Assist in ensuring that the maintenance program meets the performance, reliability, durability, and operational characteristics required by the customer. Perform system monitoring, failure reporting, and corrective-action duties, which are crucial to improving productivity and acceptance of the mobile equipment fleet. Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring optimal performance of the fleet during operation, as well as the service provider during maintenance and repair, by providing the necessary support to maximize efficiency and value for all parties involved. Identify issues, suggest improvements, and repair trucks to customer satisfaction during onsite repairs. Perform physical inspections of the complete fleet every two weeks, as signed by the Saturn Manager. Process all paperwork in a timely manner and escalate any safety concerns immediately to management. Follow all GM/UAW safety and environmental rules and regulations. Ensure all employees on an assigned shift deliver the daily work schedule on time, in full, and in a quality manner. Monitor the preventive maintenance schedule for the assigned shift to ensure completion on time and in full per GM specifications. A strong communicator with demonstrated listening skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. A leader who can coach, support, and develop employees on assigned shifts. Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Committed to delivering quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction. Flexible and willing to work off-hours, as needed, to support the Spring Hill fleet. What You Will Need (Education): A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. 5 years of relevant work experience. Skills, Experience & Abilities: Demonstrable understanding of mechanical and electrical (AC and DC) troubleshooting skills. Advanced mechanical skills, including the ability to read electrical diagrams and work with hydraulic systems to support daily maintenance requirements. Ability to troubleshoot complex and novel issues while supporting team development. Leadership and coaching skills to guide employees effectively. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently. General computer knowledge required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. is required; equipment is made available for heavier items. Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods to perform required work. Ability to maneuver in physically demanding environments. Must be able to work in various weather conditions (hot and cold extremes) with appropriate provisions. Must supply hand tools sufficient to perform maintenance and services. Position requires effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work various shifts as assigned. On occasion, the roles requires working on holidays as scheduled.
