What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburr Technician position at Hyspan Precision Products?
Deburr Technician
1st Shift 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Must have the ability to work on very small parts with the assistance of a microscope under various magnifications.
- Must have exceptional hand eye coordination.
- Must have the ability to work with small deburring tools requiring very steady hands
- Must have practical knowledge of reading drawings and specifications, ability to read and interpret process work instructions.
- Must have practical knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales.
- Must be able work within and understand extremely challenging machining tolerances.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and problem solve within a team environment.
- Must be able to communicate, get along and work well with co-workers and other departments.
- Must maintain a safe working environment in accordance with corporate policy and OSHA standards.
- Must have the ability to pass an annual Eye Exam.
- Must maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
- must continuously promote, encourage, and use proper safety practices and best practices for standard work.
- Must be able to work closely with design, quality, and process to address problems and implement improvements. Independently, safely, and efficiently launches new deburring processes, making necessary set-ups/adjustments, and optimizations for one-off, rework, or first-run work on any deburr equipment with a high rate of success.
- Must ensure that all tools, equipment, parts, and fixtures are correctly handled, maintained, and managed. Proactively ensures material/job(s) are staged for the next one or two operations for the assigned work cell/area.
- Must ensure that all tools, equipment, parts, and fixtures are correctly handled, maintained, and managed. They will have a proven track record of successfully training team members on multiple programs and deburr techniques. Champions solutions that lead to measurable improvements (less inspection time, faster cycle time, less set-up time, less scrap, less downtime, less rework).
Salary : $19 - $20
