Java Application Support Engineer

New York city, NY

Onsite role

MANDATORY SKILLS

Java Spring / Spring Boot: read Java code, debug APIs and help fix application defects.

Real L2/L3 production support: own incidents, troubleshoot P1/P2 problems and complete root-cause analysis

(RCA).

SQL Unix/Linux: investigate database issues, logs, shell scripts and failed batch jobs.

Production tools: use monitoring, incident tickets and controlled deployment/release processes.

Banking environment: financial services experience is preferred, especially mission-critical systems.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Investigate application alerts and production failures; restore service safely.

Trace Java/API errors and SQL or Unix issues; implement or coordinate verified fixes.

Manage support tickets, document RCA and prevent recurring incidents.

Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
