Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and database solutions on AWS. This role requires strong expertise across AWS services, cloud architecture best practices, and database optimization.
Responsibilities:
Architect and design scalable, secure, and highly available database and cloud solutions on AWS
Develop and implement AWS cloud architectures aligned with business and technical needs
Evaluate legacy database environments and recommend modernization and migration strategies
Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with S3, RDS, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and related AWS services
Implement best practices for performance tuning, security, backup, and disaster recovery
Work closely with application, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams for seamless integration
Provide direction on cloud standards, automation, and DevOps practices
Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and architects
Review documentation including architecture diagrams, migration plans, and operational runbooks
Understand customer pain points and deliver effective, timely solutions
Required Experience & Skills:
15 years of IT experience with strong cloud and database architecture background
Deep hands-on experience with AWS ecosystem and cloud design patterns
Expertise in AWS security, network design, and infrastructure best practices
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities
