What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer/Machine Operator position at HyR-Up Solutions?
We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator with experience in programming to oversee the use of our computer numerical control machines. In this position, your primary responsibility is to program the machine to automatically produce metal parts for our manufacturing team. You may program the machines for milling, drilling, or lathe machining. We expect you to have an associate degree in a manufacturing field and experience as a CNC lathe operator or a similar machining specialist. You must also be able to read blueprints and use a caliper or micrometer to ensure all of your parts match the specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Read blueprints for the needed parts
- Program the appropriate CNC to automate the production process
- Inspect the metal pieces for accuracy and uniformity
- Perform preventative maintenance on your machines
- Set Up Lathe and Mill Machines
Must be open to doing other job duties around the shop that does not entail CNC Machine operator
