Job Details
Title: Lead Java Developer
Location: Remote (Contract)
Potential conversion to onsite in Bentonville, AR
Contract Duration: 3 6 months contract-to-hire (USC)
Interview Process: Screening: 1-hour live technical discussion. & Client Interview: 1 round (1 hour)
Experience Required: 10 15 years total, with at least 5 7 years in a leadership role
Note: Prior experience in the Insurance domain is mandatory.
Project Overview- Working on a large-scale insurance project for optical departments, spanning at least 6 quarters.
- Managing four mini-projects simultaneously while collaborating with other internal and external stakeholders.
- Designing APIs and databases, focusing heavily on architecture, design, and code reviews rather than purely hands-on coding.
- Building and integrating with third-party vendors for claims processing, pricing, and customer-facing APIs.
- Primary Technologies: Java, Spring Boot (Microservices Architecture)
- Cloud Platforms: WCNP preferred (alternatives such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure are acceptable)
- Databases: Cosmos DB, SQL Server (or equivalents)
- Testing: JUnit
- DevOps/CI-CD Environment: Kubernetes
- Additional Skills: Authentication mechanisms, Experience with Messaging Queues (Kafka)
- Domain Requirement: Prior experience in the Insurance domain is mandatory.
