Assistant

At Renewal Studios Roanoke, we’re building more than a wellness studio. We’re creating a community-centered sanctuary for healing, creativity, restoration, and meaningful connection inside a breathtaking historic space in the heart of downtown Roanoke. Founded by bestselling author, clinical hypnotherapist, and yoga instructor Page Turner Gordon, Renewal blends mind-body practices, nervous system education, restorative movement, sound healing, workshops, and conscious community experiences in a way that feels approachable, grounded, and deeply human.

We are currently preparing for our official opening and are looking for a highly organized, proactive, people-oriented assistant/intern who wants hands-on experience helping build a wellness business from the ground up.

This is not a coffee-run internship. You’ll work directly alongside the founder learning real-world entrepreneurship, community building, wellness business operations, event coordination, marketing, scheduling, lead organization, and studio development in a fast-moving startup environment.

Role Description

This is a hybrid, part-time internship/assistant role based in Roanoke with flexibility for some remote work.

We’re looking for someone who is excited about wellness, community, creativity, organization, and building something meaningful together.

Responsibilities may include:

* Organizing leads and client intake information

* Data entry and survey analysis

* Assisting with scheduling and prioritization

* Supporting workshops, events, and studio experiences

* Helping maintain social media and online presence

* Filing paperwork and helping organize backend systems

* Client communication and follow-up

* Supporting both virtual and in-person offerings

* Assisting with launch events and community outreach

* General administrative and operational support

You’ll receive direct mentorship and hands-on training in entrepreneurship, wellness business development, branding, client experience, and conscious community building.

Qualifications

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

* Comfortable communicating with people warmly and professionally

* Ability to adapt in a growing startup-style environment

* Self-motivated and able to take initiative

* Interest in wellness, yoga, healing arts, entrepreneurship, events, or community leadership

* Comfortable with spreadsheets, forms, scheduling tools, social media, or basic admin systems

* Local to the Roanoke area preferred
