Hyphen Cargo is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) company providing Dropship, Amazon FBA, and B2B fulfillment services to e-commerce and wholesale clients. We operate in a fast-paced startup environment and are building scalable, high-accuracy warehouse operations.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and supporting the setup and scaling of new warehouse facilities. This role works closely with the Director of Operations and requires bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English to communicate effectively with local warehouse staff and cross-border teams in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, inspections, put-away, and returns processing
- Support new warehouse facility setup, including layout planning, racking, equipment selection, and workflow implementation and optimization
- Maintain inventory accuracy through WMS; conduct cycle counts and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure inbound products meet client and Amazon FBA requirements, including labeling, packaging, and compliance standards
- Manage outbound operations including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping for Dropship, Amazon FBA, and B2B fulfillment
- Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped on time in accordance with client SLAs
- Oversee Amazon FBA shipment preparation and outbound compliance requirements
- Track, monitor, and improve outbound performance metrics such as order accuracy, on-time shipment, labor productivity, and fulfillment cycle time
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff; plan labor and staffing based on daily volume and deadlines
- Partner with the Director of Operations to execute operational plans, improve efficiency, and support scaling efforts
- Track and report key warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order accuracy, on-time shipment, labor productivity, and fulfillment cycle time
- Enforce warehouse safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in a 3PL environment
- 5 years in a warehouse management or supervisory role
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English (required) — able to communicate with warehouse teams and cross-border teams in China
- Hands-on experience with Dropship and Amazon FBA operations
- Experience supporting warehouse setup or operational scaling
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
