Hypertherm Associates is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. This person is responsible for our warehousing and operational processes. It is an exciting opportunity to utilize your manufacturing and project management skills in a Lean, just-in-time environment with a 100% Associate-owned, global company.
As the Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will jump right in and help develop and define process layouts which encompass all safety, equipment, and material flow. Using your experience with Lean and Six Sigma practices, regularly seek process improvements and initiatives to improve safety, enhance quality, reduce cost, and increase earnings.

This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

Who You Are And The Experience You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment with a focus on improving processes and equipment.
- A passion for seeking and delivering process improvements
- Outstanding collaboration skills, a flexible and friendly approach to working in teams, and the attitude to always strive for the best outcomes
- Experience with MS Office and SolidWorks
- Prior experience with Bill of Materials and Engineering Change Orders
- Oracle WMS or equivalent ERP experience
- Experience with the integration of Autonomous Mobile Robots
- Experience facilitating Kaizens
- Database management tool experience with the ability to write queries including
- PowerBI
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification
- Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Analysis Software, GD&T, VSM, DFM, pFMEA, dFMEA Structured Problem Solving
