Hyperion Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Machinist to join our team. HTG builds custom sensor systems, automated machinery, testing equipment, and specialized systems for a variety of industries, including but not limited to Medical/Life Sciences, Automotive, Industrial, Military Systems, and Government Research and Development.

Specific duties of the job may include, but certainly would not be limited to the following:
- Operate CNC machinery (CAM, SolidWorks, and Haas CNC experience a plus)
- Ability to change/setup tooling, for semi-complex fixturing.
- Setup and operation of both manual mills and lathes
- Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and other engineering specifications.
- Working knowledge of shop floor mathematics and measuring tools/equipment
- Able to use basic hand tools for machine shop and assembly area duties.
- Able to follow all safety procedures.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Willing to work in different departments when requested.
- Communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Manufacturing or Machining Diploma from Vocational, Trade School, or College
- 3-8 years of machine shop experience
- 8-12 years of machine shop experience
- Routinely lift 50 lbs.
- Duties will also require extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling and lifting light to heavy objects
