What You’ll Do:
As Director of Field Services, you’ll lead all field operations for McIntosh (Hillside, NJ) and Capital (Dallas, TX). Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll drive standardization, operational efficiency, and a culture of accountability.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and aligning field service operations across multiple locations for consistency and quality.
- Developing and executing service strategies that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth project execution.
- Overseeing complex repair and service projects to meet technical standards and customer expectations.
- Optimizing processes, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to enhance field productivity.
- Mentoring and developing highperforming field service leaders.
- Managing team performance, compensation, and professional development plans.
- Supporting Sales with quotes and project input.
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a results-driven, hands-on leader with technical expertise and strong operational experience. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years in manufacturing or repair operations (motor or machine shop experience preferred).
- 5 years leading and developing highperforming teams.
- Expertise in motor repair and/or metal machining.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S preferred.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and drive operational results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
