We are seeking an experienced Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) to join our growing, high-level clinical team specializing in neurological recovery and advanced hyperbaric medicine.
This is not an entry-level role. We operate a medically supervised, accredited hyperbaric facility where patient safety, compliance, and clinical precision are critical.

You MUST hold an active Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) certification to be considered.
Do NOT apply if you do not have your CHT.
General medical experience, life support certifications, or other clinical backgrounds do NOT replace CHT certification.
Why CHT is Required for This Role
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a highly specialized treatment environment that requires formal, certification-based training.
A CHT ensures you are trained and competent in:
- Operating pressurized hyperbaric chambers safely
- Managing oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure
- Fire prevention and emergency response in a high-oxygen environment
- Recognizing and responding to complications (barotrauma, oxygen toxicity, etc.)
- Following UHMS safety standards and accredited facility protocols
This requirement is essential for:
- Patient safety
- Regulatory compliance
- Accreditation standards
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor hyperbaric oxygen chambers (monoplace systems)
- Prepare patients and ensure strict adherence to hyperbaric safety protocols
- Perform daily equipment checks, calibrations, and maintenance
- Accurately document treatments, vitals, and session data
- Assist clinical team with patient care and treatment plans
- Provide a calm, professional, and supportive patient experience
- Maintain a clean, compliant, and organized treatment environment
Qualifications
- Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) – REQUIRED
- Background as EMT, Paramedic, Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical hyperbaric experience preferred (5 years ideal)
- Strong understanding of pressure protocols, safety standards, and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- High attention to detail and professionalism
