Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable personell for our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of our production line, inventory, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and possess a strong work ethic.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as production equiptment, forklifts, pallet jacks.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and organization.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
- Perform picking and packing of orders with attention to detail to meet shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by the job demands.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and productivity.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with knowledge of production and inventory management practices.
- Familiarity with lite equipment operation, including order picking.
- Experience with computers and RF scanners for tracking inventory is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed (up to 45 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for stocking and order picking tasks.
- Basic understanding of packaging processes for shipping products safely.
