Position Overview
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Commercial Account Manager to manage a diverse Middle Market book of business.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial insurance experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with clients, Producers, carriers, and internal teams.
This position will support commercial accounts with $30,000 in premium per client, placed with Standard Carriers and Excess Lines Brokers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of Middle Market commercial accounts.
Process new business and renewal commercial policies accurately and efficiently.
Review policies to ensure coverage is appropriate for each client's needs.
Advise clients on available coverage options and identify opportunities to round accounts.
Partner with Producers by providing information and documentation needed to support sales activities.
Process policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and evidences of insurance.
Respond to daily client service needs, including billing questions, policy changes, and coverage inquiries.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the agency management system.
Follow established agency procedures and workflow processes.
Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality client service.
Required Qualifications
Current Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
3 years of Middle Market Commercial Account Management experience.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverages, and account servicing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience working with agency management systems.
Ability to follow procedure-based workflows and manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Training & Support
Training will be provided on the agency's management system and internal procedures to help you become familiar with our processes and workflows.
