Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and creative Employee Engagement Specialist to join our Human Resources team! You will be the driving force behind our efforts to foster a positive, productive, and inclusive workplace culture where every employee feels valued and connected to our mission. You will design, coordinate, and execute a variety of programs and initiatives aimed at boosting morale, enhancing communication, and improving overall employee satisfaction and retention.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive engagement and retention strategies aligned with organizational goals.Design, coordinate, and assess employee engagement initiatives, including annual surveys, pulse checks, wellness programs, and recognition events.Analyze and interpret employee feedback and engagement data to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and recommend actionable solutions to leadership.Collaborate closely with HR teams, department managers, and leadership to support change management and ensure clear, transparent communication across all departments.Organize team-building activities, company-wide events, and diversity and inclusion educational opportunities.Oversee and improve the new hire orientation and onboarding experience to ensure a seamless integration into our culture.Track and report on key metrics, such as retention rates and job satisfaction levels, to evaluate program effectiveness.Partner with HR business partners to address general employee inquiries and provide policy guidance when necessary.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations, engagement, or program management.Skills:Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build strong relationships and listen empathetically.Strong analytical skills and data literacy; ability to use survey platforms and HRIS to inform decisions.Creativity and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative programs and address workplace challenges.Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly desirable, but not required.
