Hylan is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Maintenance Worker to work in its University Park, Illinois office. The Maintenance Worker will perform tasks involving the maintenance of the yard, shop and offices and picking up and delivering materials to job sites.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain yard and warehouse and ensure both are clean and organized at all times
- Load and unload materials for field crews and inbound deliveries
- Put away and stock inbound materials in designated areas
- Pick up materials from local vendors and deliver materials to job sites
- Assist with keeping inventory of materials accurate by maintaining necessary documents
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL
- Sit down forklift experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand and walk frequently
- Ability to work well with others, both internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Working conditions
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions as this position requires working outside at least 90% of the time. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
