Warehouse Cleaner

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Cleaner to maintain a pristine and safe environment within our facility. This vital role involves ensuring all areas of the warehouse are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained to support efficient operations and uphold safety standards. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning of warehouse floors, aisles, and workspaces using floor buffers, sweepers, mops, and other cleaning equipment to ensure a spotless environment.
• Handle various cleaning agents safely, following chemical handling safety procedures to disinfect surfaces, machinery, and common areas effectively.
• Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Assist with facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs, equipment upkeep, and ensuring all cleaning tools are properly stored and maintained.
• Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or equipment movement while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Support industrial cleaning projects or residential painting tasks as needed, demonstrating versatility in maintaining different environments.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums.
• Familiarity with chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper storage of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining good manual handling practices.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness across multiple areas.
• Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with team members or visitors.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
