We are looking to expand on our already established Hygge Life styling service with a personable, hardworking, organized and aesthetically inclined professional that has an affinity for luxury interior design and styling.

What is Hygge Life?

Since 2017, Hygge Life is a Scandinavian inspired furniture, lighting and home decor showroom with an intimate Café located on Hwy 6 in Eagle-Vail. It has become a destination for Vail Valley locals, visitors and design enthusiasts from Denver, Boulder, Aspen and around the state.

The Showroom

Located in the heart of the Vail Valley, our showroom features products from trusted designers and makers across Scandinavia, Europe and the U.S. From objects that provide tangible warmth, to furniture that inspires groundedness and comfort, each offering is linked to our vision of hygge through its sense of soul and story.

The Café

An extension of our showroom, the café invites visitors to slow down and settle into our cozy indoor space or gather around the fire on our sunny patio. Guests are encouraged to leave the digital world behind and enjoy a selection of design books, newspapers and conversation with a friend—or our local community. The café serves coffee, tea and a selection of locally baked pastries.

Job Description: Hygge Life Showroom Stylist

Pay & Benefits:

Full-time position available

• F/T: $65-85k/yr (based on previous experience)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating the Hygge Life Design Desk - with focus on furniture, lighting and catalogue sales.
• Greet customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Create a memorable, "hygge" experience for every customer.
• Checkout customers w/ Shopify POS and invoicing system.
• Share product knowledge with customers and sell products that are a good fit for the customer and their home.
• Give interior styling advice to clients interested in furnishings and home decor.
• Master knowledge of Hygge Life brands and their catalogues.
• Assist clients in choosing upholstery, colors and materials for furnishings they select.
• Follow up with clients with more product information as needed.
• Stay up to date on product availability and lead times.
• Communicate with furniture brands to check on product availability, product updates, lead times and stock levels.
• Place furniture orders (PO's) for clients and showroom.
• Provide excellent customer service on all orders every step of the way - from inquiry - to purchase - to order tracking - to delivery.
• Follow up on / track orders as they progress. Check in with suppliers as needed and inform customers of shipping status.
• Manage and update Order Master List.
• Communicate with team on overall order status on a weekly basis.

Skills:

• Work experience in retail as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, out-going and friendly personality.
• Understanding of the retail sales process and operating POS system.
• Interest and affinity for interior design and styling is a must
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to stand on your feet for hours at a time.
• Photography experience is a plus.
