Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer, AI to help design and build the core systems that power AI safety, security, and reliable AI deployment.
This role sits at the intersection of:
- Large language models and multimodal AI
- Security systems and adversarial robustness
- Scalable infrastructure for real-world AI deployment
What We’re Looking For
Core Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python (and ideally one of Go / Rust / C )
- Experience with LLMs or generative AI systems (OpenAI, open-source models, etc.)
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (systems design, APIs, scalability)
- Experience building production systems (not just research prototypes)
AI / ML Experience (One or More)
- LLM application development (agents, RAG, prompting systems)
- Model evaluation or benchmarking
- Fine-tuning, inference optimization, or model serving
- Multimodal systems (text, image, audio, video)
Security / Systems Mindset
- Interest in AI safety, security, or adversarial systems
- Understanding of attack/defense thinking (even outside AI is fine)
- Ability to think in terms of system-level risks and mitigations
Nice to Have
- Experience with red teaming, security engineering, or threat modeling
- Background in AI safety, alignment, or responsible AI
- Experience with distributed systems or high-scale infrastructure
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, HIPAA, etc.)
- Contributions to open-source AI or security projects
