Under the guidance of our Production Manager, you’ll assemble precision components like check valves, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and oil level indicators—working closely with Engineering and Sales to deliver products that meet exacting standards and customer specifications.
What You’ll Be Doing
Fabrication & Assembly
- Assemble parts using blueprints, routings, and special instructions
- Measure, deburr, grind, buff, and bend tubing (up to 3/8”)
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and shop equipment
- Use adhesives, lubricants, solvents, paints, and epoxies as required
- Record labor time and follow acceptance test procedures
- Inspect parts for cleanliness and defects
- Complete Nonconforming Material Reports when needed
- Repair, disassemble, reassemble, and return unused parts to stock
- Prepare completed products for testing and final QA
- Review job packets including blueprints and test procedures
- Keep supervisors informed of progress, workload, and issues
- Perform light clerical tasks such as filing and responding to emails
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of related experience (assembly, soldering, blueprint reading)
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfort using basic hand tools and shop equipment
- Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) overhead cranes and forklifts
- A collaborative, safety-minded approach to work
- Indoor shop environment
- Standard production hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Occasional overtime or weekends as business needs require
- Standing, lifting, and hands-on work throughout the day
- Minimal travel (up to 10%)
- Be part of a skilled, close-knit production team
- Work on custom, precision products—not assembly-line monotony
- Collaborate directly with Engineering and Sales
- Build technical skills in a safety-focused environment
