Description

The Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative serves as the primary point of contact for an assigned customer base, managing quote requests, purchase orders, customer inquiries, and sales opportunities. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service, and driving sales growth through responsive support, product guidance, and proactive communication.

This role works closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide accurate quotes, manage orders, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience while supporting Hydrotech's culture of integrity, collaboration, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Respond to customer emails, phone calls, and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Process quote requests, purchase orders, and order-related requests.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
• Resolve customer concerns and coordinate solutions with internal teams.
• Document customer returns, complaints, and quality-related issues.
  
  

Quoting & Order Management

• Prepare accurate quotes using ERP systems and vendor information.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to gather quoting information.
• Recommend alternative products or solutions when appropriate.
• Process customer orders accurately and provide timely order acknowledgments.
• Monitor order status and communicate estimated ship dates to customers.
• Maintain accurate customer, product, and order records.
  
  

Warehouse & Material Handling Support

• Receive and record incoming inventory.
• Pick, package, and prepare products for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of customer service, inside sales, or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer, ERP, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Frequent use of standard office equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to analyze situations, make decisions, and solve problems effectively.
  
  

Work Environment

• Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week.
• Primarily indoor office environment with occasional warehouse responsibilities.
• Use of standard office and warehouse equipment as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years customer service experience

Salary Description

$22.00 - $30.00 per Hour
