Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA, for a Staff Electro-Mechanical Engineer. The role involves designing, testing, and optimizing hydrogen-electric propulsion systems for aircraft. Daily tasks include creating detailed engineering designs, conducting performance analyses, system level testing, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to drive projects forward. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to prototyping, manufacturing support, and continuous system improvement.
Qualifications
Background in Mechanical Engineering for creating and improving EVs and or aircraft
Analytical Skills for troubleshooting and optimizing electro-mechanical systems
design of aerostructures, gear boxes, and transmissions
Hands-on experience with testing, prototyping, and system-level integration
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Familiarity with hydrogen fuel cell technology or other renewable energy systems is a strong plus
