Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming sales calls from existing and prospective customers.
  • Assist customers with product searches, parts support, and provide solutions to customer requests and application needs.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotations in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on quotations to secure business opportunities and close sales.
  • Process sales orders and purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Support Outside Sales Representatives by providing timely customer information and sales support.
  • Review open sales and purchase orders and expedite deliveries with factory partners when necessary.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and problem resolution.
  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Resolve customer issues, discrepancies, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist customers with product cross-references, substitutions, and alternative solutions.
  • Participate in product training and continuous learning to maintain strong technical and product knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, shipment updates, and delivery expectations.


Other Skills/Abilities:

  • PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills (phone and email-based sales experience preferred)
  • HVAC, Plumbing, Quoting experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, coachable, and team-oriented attitude
