6 years Estimating as a Job Cost Estimator in the Aerospace Sheet Metal Parts Manufacturing Industry
Knowledge of competitive labor rates, outside processing rates and material cost for Sheet Metal Aerospace parts and sub-assemblies.
Strong Communication skills, technical writing skills, typing, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to convey critical manufacturing information to Senior Management and Leadership in a professional and presentable manner.
Ability to read and interpret Blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Ability to prepare cost estimates in a timely manner, and sometimes expedite when needed in this fast-paced working environment.
Identify, understand and meet project schedule deliverables
3 years Military and Commercial Aerospace Manufacturing and Fabrication experience strongly preferred.
3 years Planning, Supply Chain or Project Management experience required - equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of Planning experience.
Report savvy, produce and interpret reports as required.
Strong leadership experience.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, management and customers.
Ability to identify business risks and escalate with solutions as necessary.
Ability to make independent and informed decisions.
Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles recommended
Problem-solving skills, troubleshooting skills, and teamwork minded.
HS Graduate required and College (AA, BA or BS)
Job Position is Regular Full Time (FT), M-F 5 - 1:30 p.m. OT required to complete RFQ demands and deadlines. Saturday 5-10 a.m.
