Shifts Available and Hours:
First shift
8am start to job completion (varies)
What you will be doing
- Review load information for and completeness.
- Ensures bundles meets customer quality specifications.
- Safely load bundles onto tractor-trailers by using the overhead hoist system.
- Secure bundles and install sideboards or tarps as required.
- Complete load checklists thoroughly and accurately.
- Verify bundle weights against load sheets.
- Complete and submit manifests to the shipping clerk.
- Operate yard tractor to spot trailers in the yard and truck wells.
What will make you successful?
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Ability to read scales and interpret weight measurements.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Proficient in safely operating an overhead hoist system.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
