Starting Rate of pay: $17.42/hour
Shifts Available and Hours: Third Shift 11PM to 7AM
Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential
What you will be doing
- Operate various equipment including mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers, and hand tools.
- Perform basic set-up on equipment.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure all safety devices (e.g., guards) are in place. Report any safety concerns to the supervisor or foreperson.
- Read and interpret inspection tools, including digital calipers, micrometers, protractors, and custom gauges.
- Maintain accurate records of job assignments both on paper and in digital systems.
- Conduct quality control checks on work in progress.
What will make you successful?
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs.) may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating machinery.
- Basic understanding of safety, quality, and production processes.
