What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fab Tech - Machinist I position at Hydro?
What we offer you
This is a 5am to 3:30pm shift- M-Fr with some mandatory OT on Saturdays
What you will be doing
Primary Function:
Ensure internal customers (Fabrication) receives daily products on time with no quality defects.
Ensure we are practicing our core values and keeping mind on safety, quality and production.
Completion of daily tasks assigned (Cut-sheets).
Basic knowledge/experience needed on Industrial style saws, press Brakes, plasma tables, end-mills are a plus.
Must be able to read a tape measure. Testing will be conducted.
Ensure housekeeping of the department is at an acceptable level set forth by lead and Dept. Manager.
Ensure machines used are in working order and clean throughout the work day
Material accuracy going to welding cell set-forth by site tolerances.
Material racks stay safe and organized
Maximizing usage of material.

Will need to be a team player to be successful (required)
Follow safety and quality rules (required)
Show up on time, and have good attendance (required)
Where PPE as required by team lead (required)
Preferred:
2 years working in a Industrial Manufacturing enviroment
