What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Treatment Service Technician/Plumber J1, J2, P1 or P2 position at Hydro-Pure Water Treatment, LLC?
Hydro-Pure is an established and rapidly growing water treatment company serving eastern Connecticut. We are seeking a motivated, hard-working individual to join our team. Candidate must be mechanically inclined and possess superior customer service skills. We need a licensed technician to perform the installation, service and repair of water treatment equipment, well tanks, and well pumps. The desired qualifications and abilities include:
*Possession of a current J2, J1, P2 or P1 Connecticut plumbing license
*Experience with the installation, service and repair of water treatment equipment, well tanks, and well pumps
*Technical knowledge pertaining to the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of water treatment equipment, well tanks, and well pumps
*Experience and knowledge of tools, materials, parts, and supplies used in the water treatment, well tank, and well pump industry
*Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
*Ability to follow directions and work independently
*Willingness to learn new techniques and skills
*Neat, clean and organized work ethic
*Ability to interact professionally and positively with our customers and co-workers
*Strong communication skills and ability to read and write English
*Ability and willingness to use a computer and communication devices (i.e. cell phone, tablet)
*Ability to maintain proper attendance and punctuality standards
*Valid driver's license and clean driving record
